Williamson County ESD #10 - Hiring Part Time Firefighters
ESD #10 is hiring day crews to work 12 hour shifts, Monday thru Friday. Crews consisting of 3 personnel.
Williamson County ESD # 10 Fire Department is a direct service provider in Eastern Williamson County. We have stations in Coupland and Thrall, we cover a total of 215 square miles, including all or part of these communities Beaukiss, Beyersville, Coupland, Rural Elgin, Hare, Hoxie, Laneport, Lawrence Chapel, Noack, Norman's Crossing, Sandoval, Shiloh, Structure, Rice's Crossing, Rural Taylor, Thorndale, Thrall, Type, Waterloo, and Lake Granger.
We are an all-hazards fire department, protecting a predominantly rural jurisdiction. We respond to approximately 800 calls per year, the majority of that volume being BLS medical calls, motor vehicle accidents and wildland fires. Up to now we have been all volunteer, due to growth in the area and call volume we are augmenting our response capability with day crews.
Pay Rate: $17 - $19 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Qualifications (minimum)

TCFP Basic Structural Firefighter

EMT-B
-
TCFP Basic Wildland Firefighter or S130/S190
-
ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800
-
Class B Driver’s License
-
2 years’ experience preferred

Current full time employment with TCFP fire department preferred
